Monique is a Christian Therapist, Evangelist, Prophetess, Intergenerational Trauma Specialist, and we're humbled and honored to have her join us. Monique brings a unique blend of spiritual insight and clinical expertise to her role, she holds a Masters in Psychology. She's a passionate advocate for those navigating the complexities of intergenerational trauma, and her therapeutic approach is built on Christian values and principals.
She seamlessly integrates faith-based foundations with evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Maria Spearman, Counselor, LLPC
I am a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional committed to helping individuals navigate life’s most challenging moments with dignity, resilience, and hope. With extensive experience in trauma counseling, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, and forensic psychiatric care, I provide a grounded, evidence based approach that centers each client’s unique needs and strengths.

My clinical background includes serving survivors of violence through the Detroit Police Department’s Victim Assistance Program, supporting individuals in recovery at The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, and delivering mental health services within correctional and forensic settings. These diverse environments have strengthened my ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships, create a sense of safety, and support clients through complex emotional, behavioral, and situational challenges.I utilize a trauma informed, person centered approach and draw on modalities such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based coping skills, and strengths based interventions. I am passionate about empowering clients to heal from past wounds, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and make positive changes that support long term wellbeing.
